According to the Aggañña Sutta (DN.27), humans originated at the beginning of the current kalpa as deva-like beings reborn from the Ābhāsvara deva-realm. They were then beings shining in their own light, capable of moving through the air without mechanical aid, living for a very long time, and not requiring sustenance.

Over time, they acquired a taste for physical nutriment, and as they consumed it, their bodies became heavier and more like human bodies; they lost their ability to shine, and began to acquire differences in their appearance. Their length of life decreased, they differentiated into two sexes and became sexually active. Following this, greed, theft and violence arose among them, and they consequently established social distinctions and government and elected a king to rule them, called Mahāsammata, "the great appointed one". Some of the kings of India in the Buddha´s day claimed descent from him.

monkeys didnt shine. budu hamuduruwanta atheethe penila naha hariyata

Monekys didn't just appear,as well as it's not the first form of life.First form of life might well be a single cell creature.Read what the buddha said again.single cell might be the the physical manifestation of the suttle body. And there is no proof yet that we evolve from monkeys or apes or whatever.Only because we share some genes doesn't mean we evolved from then.No scientific conclusion on this yet.

Who disprove evolution now?Buddhist agree on evolution. Now are you saying darwin has proved humans evolved from monkeys? No body came to a conclusion yet. From where did you find we evolved from monkeys?

lol. what evolution says is monkeys and us share a common ancestor. what buddha said was that we are evolved from some divine beings at the very beginning of the world. this is pure fantasy. we were evolved from animals and theres no difference between them and us eventhough buddha said animals live in a hell. this is not evolution this is fantasy. everybody came to a conclusion except religious extremists.

Not how human are evolved but "beings".Buddha go one step ahead to add to the origin of life on earth.Orgin of beings on earth is not humans of course. You're commenting without reading what I have said.

    Origin of Species

    he Buddha further says,

There comes a time, Vasettha, when, after the lapse of a long, long period, this world died. And when this happens, beings have mostly been reborn into the Realm of Radiance [as devas]; and there they dwell, made of mind, feeding on rapture, self-luminous, traversing the air, continuing in glory; and thus they remain for a long, long period of time. There comes also a time, Vasettha, when sooner or later this world begins to re-evolve. When this happens, beings who had deceased from the World of Radiance usually come to life as humans…now at that time, all had become one world of water, dark, and of darkness that makes blind. No moon nor sun appeared, no stars were seen, nor constellations, neither was night manifest nor day, neither months nor half-months, neither years nor seasons, neither female nor male.

Beings were reckoned just as beings only. And to those beings, Vasettha, sooner or later after a long time, earth with its savours was spread out in the waters, even as a scum forms on the surface of boiled milky rice that is cooling, so did the earth appear.”

“Now there comes a time, Vasettha, when after a long period of time this world expands. When the world expands beings for the most part fall from the realm of Radiance and come here; and they exist made of mind, feeding on joy, self-luminous, moving through the air, constantly beautiful; thus they remain for a long, long time. Now at that time, all had become one world of water dark, and of darkness that makes blind. No moon nor sun appeared no stars were seen, nor constellations, neither was night manifest nor day, neither months nor half-months, neither years nor seasons, neither female nor male.

Beings were reckoned just as beings only. And to those beings, Vasettha, sooner or later after a long time, earth with its savors was spread out in the waters. Even as a scum forms on the surface of boiled milky rice that is cooling, so did the earth appear. ~

The “beings” that The Buddha he described in this sutra are attached

to an earthlike planet, get reborn there, and remain there for the duration of the life. As a result of this, physical characteristics change and evolutionary changes take place. This is could be interpreted as a form of evolution.

Modern science says that some millions of years ago, life originated

in the ocean which evolved from simple into complex organisms. All these processes are without beginning or end, and are set in motion by natural causes. World came into existence by nature and that nature is not an intelligent force.

see what buddha said was that divine beings comes to life as humans after eating the surface of the earth. if you believe what buddha said was the beginning of the micro organisms you will also have to believe that trees are beings too which die and being reborned again. Buddhism doesn't believe in evolution. just like every other religion buddhism has it's own myths. we originated long after sun and moon appeared.

everything is a story. still evolution is the best story there is and it has countless evidence. abassara brahma loka thing is a complete myth. we didn't evolve from divine beings.

You are talking about this kalpa.A kalpa is around 4.56 billion years. You're talking about humans in this kalpa. We have another 2+ billion years to go till this kalpa ends.Yes there were many buddhas as well as humans in previous kalpas.Life on earth has been destroyed million billlion times before. The evolution that you're talking about happens only during the time of expansion of this universe.

he refers to humans as nor male nor female.Just as beings. It's not the modern day man he's talking about.Trees happen because of cause and effect. We are talking about how beings with consciousness evolved.

Divine beings in the sence not some gods fooling around with chariots and all.abhasvara planes means a mind made dwelling place for a being.Don't attach a certain physical frame to this being.
