බෙහෙත් හිඟයක් නෑ

Chemo drugs for the 6th round of treatment for over 50 patients from all over Sri Lanka were not available at the Maharagama Cancer Hospital today. Drs and staff have no idea when they will be available - “could be tomorrow, could be in 2 weeks”.
Those who could afford to were told they could buy the meds from ‘outside’ to be administered at the hospital.
A handful of people desperate not to break the patient’s chemo cycle went borrowed Rs28,754 and purchased from pharmacies nearby & had the meds administered.
The Minister of Health has been on TV saying “there’s no shortage of drugs”

ඕක බොරුවක් බන් hospital එකේ බෙහෙත් තියනව අපේ නැන්දා කෙනකේ ඇඩ්මිට් කරලා නැන්දව බලන්න අපු අයිය කෙනෙක්ට ඕක කියල වැඩ කරන කෙනෙක්. ඊට පස්සේ ඒ අයිය අදුරන ආමි hospital වල වැඩ කරන කෙනෙක් අහල එයාල කියල කොහොමටවත් හිගයක් එන්න බැ කියල ඕක කරන්නේ PHARMACY එකෙන් සෙට් කරලා දෙන කෙනාට ගානක් සෙට් වෙනවා, අනික PHARMACY එකෙන් ගන්න ඔක්කොම පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙත් නැ.
කෙලින්ම ලොකු දොස්තරට කියන්න කිවුව. ලොකු දොස්තරට කිවුවහම දොස්තර ඇවිල්ල බැනල වැඩ කරන උන්ට බොරු කරන්නේ නැතුව බෙහෙත් ටික දෙන්න කියල.
ඔහොම තමයි බන් ලොකු තැන් වලින් හොරකන් කරද්දී පොඩි උනුත් පුරුදු වෙනවා.
