ගොන් කතා

මේ ආණ්ඩුව හරිම මර්දනකාරී. අද උතුරේ තියෙන්නේ හමුදා ආණ්ඩුවක්. ඒ වගේම දකුනේ විපක්ෂයට හරිම භයානක තත්වයක් තියෙන්නේ.මාධ්‍ය වේදීන්ට හරිම භයානක තත්වයක් තියෙන්නේ. පෙලපාලි යනකොට උන්ට ගහන්න පොලු හමුදාවක් ඉන්නවා. මේ වගේ වැඩ කරන ආණ්ඩුවකට සහයෝගය දෙන්න බෑ.
අනිත් එක මොන කෙහෙම්මලකටද යටත් වුන කොටි වෙඩි තියලා මැරුවේ.ඇයි යුධ මුක්ත කලාපෙට , හොස්පිටල් වලට ෂෙල් ගැහුවේ.
මේ යුද්ධ කාලේ සහ යුද්ධෙන් පස්සේ මුලු ලෝකේම අවධානය ලංකාවට එල්ල වෙලා තිබුනේ.එහෙම තියෙද්දි මේ වගේ වැඩ කරලා අන්තිමට රට බේරා ගන්න කියන්න එපා. ඕනම නායකයෙක් තමන්ට නීතියෙන්, ව්‍යවස්තාවෙන් තියෙන බලය ඉක්මවා යන්න නරකයි.ඒක නිසා තමයි මේක වුනේ. නීතියට එකඟව වැඩ කරානම් ෂේප්.

උඹගෙ ටිකිරි මොලේට තේරුම් කරලා දීපන්...මේ බොරු යුද අපරාධ හොයනව නම් මහින්ද විතරක් නෙවෙයි ෆොන්සේකාටත් උඩින්ම හේග් එකට යන්න වෙන බව.
හොස්පිටල් වලට ශෙල් දැම්ම කතාව බොරුවක් කියලා කොටින්ට බයේ ප්‍රකාශ කරපු ඩොක්ටර්ලාම පස්සෙ ඇත්ත කිව්වා.

In my humble opinion I have to admit that some of the footages shown in this documentary are genuine and leaked from inside.

Even at the interview with Al Jazeera Dr. Rajiv Wijesingha admitted that some hospitals were ocassionally shelled because LTTE had mounted heavy weaponary near those hospitals and he categorically denied that it was not systematic as some pro tamil supporters depicted. He said it was a difficult choice sincd they had to rescue some 300,000 civilians from the brutal clutches of LTTE.

And looking at some of the leaked videos which contained extrajudicial killings and sexual abuses, I think this is a normal situation after a such prolonged brutal war. It is the true nature of a war. I believe the first casuality of a war is humanity. This has happened in Vietnam, Iraq, Ethiyopia, Uganda, Chechniya, you name it. USA, UK and all these super powers have blood in their hands. What else do you expect from soldiers who were trained to kill adding the emotional and psychalogical trauma they underwent seeing their collegues get killed before their eyes?

The goverment of Sri Lanka should realize the true nature of International politics and to act accordingly. It is no doubt Sri Lanka is no super power compared to west and therefore the probability of International pressure on implementing International Law in the country is definitely high. I am proud of the way Dr. Rajiv Wijesingha responded to the Al Jazeera concluding "Sri Lanka will Absolutely not allow an International inquiry". We need more people like him in this critical time. What i believe is the best thing the government of Sri Lanka should do is to have their own inquiry into this matter with transparency and bring the perpetrators before law.

The differnce between Sri Lanka and other countries is all the other countries atleast conducted inside inquiries and punished those who were found guilty irrespective of their nationality (Except for the World War II). Frogs in the well may not know, but there are millions of Americans who protest against the US involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, and everywhere it is the same scenario. If you use internet other than porn you will find them. One thing some people here in Sri Lanka (I see many in Elakiri who are self proclaimed Patriots) should realize is that there can be people who decide not to support either LTTE or Sri Lankan Government. You dont need to have a name board hanging round your neck to be a patriot or actually to support the government because simply the country and the government are two different entities.

try to analize things....
people here are bevilderd with patriotism and that does nothing..

i ll put my view on point for.
pls note- im proud sri lankan and one of my own brothe also died in war@ 2007

1- be kind enough to believe the truth, watch those videos and ur heart will say that its true.

2- authencity of videos have been proven by indipendent research firms all over the world.there are things in this world like that.so believe its true..
