    ඒ ටික තේරෙනව. උත්තරේ හරියටම දශම ගාණට ගන්න හැටි බැලුවෙ..
    මේ ගාණ ටිකක් අමාරුයි නේ..

    [x!]!=6!
    x!=6
    x!=3!

    x=3

    mata hithenne meke

    if we consider the meaning of X!! is Double factorial as X!!=720

    this is implies

    x.(x-2)....6.4.2=720

    or

    x.(x-2)....7.5.3.1=720

    or

    1=720 (this is clearly a contradiction)​

    but by the definition, x must be an integer greater than or equal to -1

    now think about
    8*6*4*2=384 <720
    10*8*6*4*2=3840 >720

    Also
    7*5*3*1=105 <720
    9*7*5*3*1=945 >720​

    So, there is no any x such that
    x.(x-2)....6.4.2=720 or x.(x-2)....7.5.3.1=720

    i think we can get an answer for x using (x!)!=720

    You all seem to be confused with the integer value of x. The value given by Wolfram alpha is correct. You can extend the factorials to non integers. For eg what is the factorial of 1/2? Surprisingly it is SQR(pi)/2
    These are related to the Pi function and the Gamma function.

    මේ ගානේ තියන විදියටනම් මේක double factorial එක තමයි. මේක A/L ගානක් නම් ඕක x!! = (x!)! කියලා අරගන හදන්න එහෙම නැතිනම් complex විදියට Gamma Function අරගෙන තමයි හදන්න වෙන්නේ.

    yep, u correct, we have no any integer solutions but have non-integer sol,
    x ≈ 8.72893274191409...(Given by Wolfram)
