Seagate එකක් මං දැන් පාවිච්චි කරනවා අවුරුදු 10 ක් විතර කිසි අවුලක්නෑ..
Seagate thama mama primarily use karanne. Seagate Expansion eka kisima ledak na dan goda kaalayak use karanawa. Ewagema 2011 wala gaththu Western Digital Elements ekakuth thiyenawa thama wada karana. Oya dala thiyena Seagate , WD variants gana hariyata kiyanna ba.

most externals either have a seagate or a wd drive inside regardless of the label on the outside
but keep in mind in wd external drives the usb connector is soldered on to the circuit board of the drive (like below)
on seagate ones it's a separate circuit board that can be removed so you can use the drive as a normal sata by directly connecting it to your computer
if for some reason you need to open up the enclosure and access the drive it's not possible with a wd one (in case of a broken usb port. not the most likely scenario, but could happen)
but keep in mind in wd external drives the usb connector is soldered on to the circuit board of the drive (like below)
