The M14 4G supports 25W Fast Charging, but no wall adapter is included in the box.
Standard 10W/15W chargers or older USB-A bricks will only charge at normal speeds.
To trigger 25W fast charging, the phone requires a charger supporting Power Delivery (PD 3.0) with PPS (Programmable Power Supply) protocol.
Disabled Fast Charging in System Settings
Software updates or default battery optimization profiles sometimes toggle off the fast charging feature.
Software Update Glitches
Temporary background bugs after a One UI software update can cause the device to default to standard (5V/1A or 5V/2A) charging speeds or display inconsistent charging estimates.
Cable / Port Debris or Damage
Lint or dust inside the USB-C port prevents the data pins from communicating with the adapter to negotiate fast-charging voltage.
Thermal Throttling (Overheating)
If the phone's internal temperature gets too high, the system automatically scales down the charging speed to protect battery longevity.
Step-by-Step Fixes
1. Verify Fast Charging Settings
Go to Settings > Battery (or Device Care > Battery).
Tap Charging settings or More battery settings.
Ensure Fast charging is toggled ON. (Note: Unplug and re-plug the cable after toggling it on.)
