Yeah. me welawe oya tax eka genawa kiyanna keeyak hari kadaganna karana magulak thama. ohoma neme. hari haman plan ekak gahala, may be europe, singapore wage ratakin upades aragena oka karanna wenne.
best thing would be to remove current bus service in colombo city and introduce metro bus service with planned routes with A/C. so at least people can travel with comfort. then govt can start taxing drivers entering the city.

that's the correct way. Transport planning should be done giving priority for public transport while improving the quality of it. (introducing luxury bus service within the city area) From that post what I meant was today or tomorrow we have to limit the number of private vehicles entering Colombo. But anyway it should be done only after improving public transport.

True. Public Transport should be developed. Then Lot's of people will leave their vehicles at home and go to work or school on these services. Same like in Singapore and KL. Their Rapid Transit systems are great. They even have more population in their cities than us. See how they have developed.
