It is a good idea to go some other country and come back after 5 years with some money. However if you choose Aus,Can,Nz after 5 years, most probably you will stay there (what ever the advantages and disadvantages). Try Europe or middle east.

    Den UK ekema kohomada?

to best of my knowledge, it is a very congested area /very expensive/difficult to get Permanent residency. But it may be good, if you go there and stay just for few years to earn some money. If want to migrate Aus/Nz/Canada may be better. Those countries are "built" for migration. Immigrates are welcome.

This is somewhat true. If you are paid enough in any country, no need to worry about many things. Just enjoy the life. relaxed life. If you can work hard, there are many opportunities.

Some believe money is not the happiness. That is partially true. Everybody has a dream. He needs to have sufficient money to make that dream a reality.

So Melbourne is better than Sydney............I guess...

I guess it is other way. Someone told me that Melborne is quite populated with immigrants and there are some issues.

We would like to have one from Aus to discuss this. I think there are many people from all around world in elakiri.

So As a rule of thumb,

    (1) if you want to just earn some money and come back to SL, try any country (middle east/europe etc) other than AUS/CAN/NZ (If you go there, that is it, very little come back to SL, that is the reality).

    (2) migrate and live permanently - try AUS/NZ/Canada. easy to get PR (Permanent resident is the key for the success. No problems with visa. I have seen lot of people get in to trouble in renewing visa. In fact, legally companies should give priority to PR for job selection specially for good well paid jobs, free healthcare and government and other organization will help you to settle, apply for PR from SL if possible).

I travelled to europe several times. It is very congested/ roads are very narrow and living is quite expensive/ hard to find affordable house to live. In Canada (I think Aus too), there is a plenty of space

agree. Children have great future (in terms of education and good jobs). That is why some people come here, even they have well established in SL.

Here, higher education is free. But University education is not free. However there are government loans, government assisted savings (by parent), scholarships help lot. That is for permanent residents. Once you get a job, tuition fee is not a big deal.

For international students, the tuition fee is 3*local student free.

which category?. Federal or provincial nominee?
    Skilled worker?

There are list of minimum qualifications to be fulfilled (e.g. English language requirements/job experience/education etc for PR).
