Isnt this Gem "tower" just a 19 story building bring to all gem merchants in to one center. There are similar "gem tower" buildings in other courtiers too, with the objective of making trade easy for both buyer and seller.

This is a revenue generating project. One can understand Ratnapura has many infrastructure issues, but before infrastructure can be developed the city must start generating revenue. Before you can build a house, you must find a job and earn money!

Of course we know all this is very hard for gooNP and 3% ibrahm gang...all they know is to sell the country or bankrupt mega projects. What have they done for the last 30 years, except allow prabhakaran to run riot, burn the country with two failed revolutions, sell the most valuable post in Asia, and allow ISIS to bombs the churches

anyway without proper infrastructure we cant attract foreign businessmen. At least we must complete Ruwanpura Highway. Otherwise this will become another white elephant..
