මම ඔයගොල්ලන්ට කියන්න යන්නේ ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවේ තියෙන බොහොම විනෝදජනක භාවිතාවක් පිළිබඳව...

අපේ සිංහල භාෂාවේත් මේ වගෙම රසබර අවස්ථා තියෙනවා....ඒත් ගොඩාක් දෙනෙක් ඒ දේවල් දන්නවානේ...

ඔයගොල්ලො දන්නවා ඇතිනේ ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවේ තියෙන rhyme, irony, paradox, similes පිලිබඳව...English Literature කරපු අයනම් අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම දන්නවා ඇති...

ඉතින් මම අද කියන්න යන්නේ Palindrome කියන ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවේ එන අවස්ථාව ගැන...

Palindrome කියන්නේ මොකක්ද....?

ඔය තියෙන්නේ Wikipedia meaning එක...

සරලවම කියනවනම් ඕනෑම වචනයක්, වාක්‍යයක්, ඡේදයක්, අංකයක් හෝ ඕනෑම සංකේත රටාවක් මුල ඉඳන් අගටත්, අග ඉඳන් මුලටත් අපිට එකම විදියට කියවන්න පුලුවන්නම් ඒක Palindrome එකක්...

හරියට සිංහල භාෂාවේ තියෙන රතු වතුර, තාත්තා, සණස වගේ වචන....

ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවේ තියෙන සරලම උදාහරණ ගත්තොත් madam, radar, dad වගේ ඒවා...

දැන් හැඳින්වීම ඉවරයි....
දැන් ඉතින් මේවා මුල ඉඳන් අගටත්, අග ඉඳන් මුලටත් කියවලා ඔයගොල්ලොත් මම වගේම පුංචි අහිංසක සතුටක් ලබන්න...

One of the few palindromes i can remember from what we learnt when doing O/L's...

The above was written one the wall of the prison cell in the Elba island, in which the famous Napolian was kept in his last quarter... and ere means before at that time(old english)
