Only two options available to come out of the mess

What will happen if the country declares bankruptcy? I guess the situation gets even worse then. That's not an option. Isn't it?

Once we sovereign default we are literally bankrupt
Like Greece was partially did back then

It will cause currency collapse , high inflation and MASS unemployment which is the bad side
Also not to mention loosing savings

But the good bit is we can go to a total circuit breaker at that point starting from 0% unlike now we do patch work here and there
So SLTB, SL airlines, CEB , CGR and etc can be totally overhauled either by selling completely or 51-49% to a private party to manage or my preferred way is listing on the stock market which ultimately owned by majority SLs so nothing wrong with it and corruption comes to public knowledge as it required to disclose info when listed.

This is misleading comment. What MR did was obtained loans through banks and other private instituion by aquiring stakes through EPF. Once the previuos govt came in they took all the loans in to govt books, thats how its shot up

This is misleading comment. What MR did was obtained loans through banks and other private instituion by aquiring stakes through EPF. Once the previuos govt came in they took all the loans in to govt books, thats how its shot up

Loans are a vicious cycle because often government ventures make losses coz they are based on populist ideas and often have no merits
