100% agreed, I spent nearly a year in Russia and had a similar experience. Except for Muscovites, most Russians have never seen a black man, thus they are very curious about us. They will usually touch you and, as previously stated, take selfies with you. Because they do not speak English, it might be a little annoying at times. Most Russians I've met are vodka-loving, hard-nosed MFs who can be a little bit aggressive when drunk, and they are always drunk, but they are the best buddies when they accept and make friends with you. They will never leave your side, for better or worse.

Oh yes, the best one is borscht, which is nice with a pinch of salt and bread. I love that and bini.
