You do not share hardware and resouces with your main OS when performing security related tasks. It's simple as that. That is how you hack and get a prison sentence. You would remove your main hardware and use disposable hardware to do that Even a non hacker like me knows that. This just proves that windows hackers don't know what the f they are doing.

Machan no offence, i'm not saying you are wrong or anything but many professionals i've worked with (i'm not a cyber security professional) don't use kali. As you said it's a collection of tools so noobs like us have easy time getting started. Professionals who do this line of work for living prefer to roll their own set of tools as they have know how to do so and prefer customised toolset instead of something generic kali.

Yeah cyber security professionals might not use Kali as it is a penetration tester. But the generic set of tools are the same for most kind of hacking. You can use the same Kali toolkits in any debian based os or you could try something like blackarch which I don’t know anything about. But what is their preferred OS to carry out security testing? Because I’m not convinced that any cyber security professional would use windows as their daily driver.

The more I read the comments in this thread, the more it feels like some of the folks commenting here don't know about "hacking" even as much as the guy in the video. The way some of the terms are thrown about and the amount of dick measuring going on here makes it seem as if you dont know jack shit about computer security either.

And what's with the comments mocking this guy saying he is talking about basic things? Everyone has to start learning somewhere , even at a beginner level so dont pretend like asshole know-it-all-osthars. Everyone likely has a phase where they try dumb shit and then mature into the next level with experience, teachers and students alike.

But I did read the thread and I saw know-it-all fuckers ganging up on him and trying to bully him by reporting his channel which is when I replied here.

As for the OS, well there is nothing to lose my mind because I'm not a fanboy of any OS. It's just that when you are at a certain age, you can tell the mindset of a script kiddie thinking they are the masters of "hacking" just by looking at how certain terms are phrased together and just by their elitist behavior.
