I am in the same boat. I don't understand the term "grade 4" hiatus hernia, but I assume it's a small hernia. I am using Pantoprazole 20mg every morning, and it helps me a lot. Initially I used 40mg, but after about a month it's being reduced to 20mg, and it seems working all right. Hope you get well soon.
