i know several people who did their degrees at IIT and now they have abour 3 + years work experience after the degree, none of them get more than 70 000. In Sri Lanka, most valuable is a degree from SL government university probably from UCSC or Moratuwa. After that nearly all are same.

what you say might be correct. coz there are two types of people. who completes the degree first and go join the JOBS. BUT what i told is people who are with 4 yeare experiance when completing degree. anot after completing the degree machan. the scholarship batch they always have the benefit of having the work experience at the same time.

machan you better ask Vertusa / IFS / Milenium IT and othr Companies about The degree holders from UCSC ,MORATUWA and IIT .They will tell you the truth , But Ask from the top management

mcn, I have a friend who studied at IIT and finished degree in the end of 2008. now he has 3+ years post study work experience and working at johnkeels. he said his salary is 50k. He's doing masters now and he said as soon as he finish masters, he will find another job. Also he said that john keels is going down now.
