Cricket back at Rupavahini - Will telecast the World Cup – 2015
Ceylon Today Sports: Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) will broadcast the forthcoming Cricket World Cup 2015 as Carlton Sports Network (CSN) failed to complete the necessary payment to regional broadcasting right holder ESPN.
According to a source close to two organizations, CSN who had been broadcasting cricket in Sri Lanka from 2012, has failed to pay the amount of their broadcasting right to ESPN, the ICC broadcasting right holder for the Asia Pacific region, before the deadline, which is a little more than Rs 400 Million, where ESPN has decided to award the broadcasting right back to SLRC.
