The people in Galkiriyagama know what you say about him. Some say he was a former JVPer and when police were hunting for him he hid in that forest, and begin poaching. Much later he got to know MR closely (even got a brand new car). The guy wasn't a monk but is a good talker. (Thankfully he wouldn't come to preach to me).
