right? I know which "racer" he meant.

well its not. after pumping different petrol 92, 95 mixing from ceypetco, IOC since getting fuel is a such a mess, many hikups came up and experienced blockages and complete stop at one point. fuel quality is crap these days as they pump to the bottom (from ship to , refinery to bowser to shed tank all crap)

ask anyone . all are having issues with fuel economy + vehicles are burning on middle of the road (a 3wheeler today in bamba) what do you think is the reason? why do you think racers use it?

try it out few times and then share ur idea here

    i use
    - eco tablets
    - fekron

if you pump 95 then will not see much of a difference. 95 here is somewhat good but not exactly 95. definitely 92 is crappy water

I never put any of those crap in either of my cars, but having seen the snake oil advertisements, I don't have any doubt that they are just that -- just snake oil to take advantage of placebo effect.

If you told me a modern car was knocking due to bad fuel, I'd have believed you, but comparing the fuel quality on a 3 wheeler is pure worthless. Any car worth its salt should be able to adjust its compression ratios, and even if it does not, putting a 95 RON doesn't do anything to improve fuel economy if the car is rated for 92.

That said, this very topic is one of the internet's most argued topic, and I'm not wasting any more time about it. I respectfully ask you to stick to your opinions, but be considerate when you diminish someone else's opinion unless you have proper evidence to strongly counter-argue. Make a primary school test. Do a blind test - ask a friend to mix or not mix your snake oil without telling you, and see if you can tell the difference.

Its my own experience and i have the benefit of it. when fuel quality is bad you put much effort on engine to gain the speed you need. increases wear as well as burn more fuel.

if you really want to experience it come to welisara race track. will show how its done by professional racers along with test results from dyno. or even kandy Drays dyno if ur from that area

Also im not a marketer of any of these. just tried using. if you have better options you can share. my friends use wurth octain booster. havnt tried it yet

Just curious to know who those "racers" are?

Let me just tell you once thing. Racers using it does not mean it has a appreciable advantage for what you pay. (I have a race engine which runs only on E20 from a specific vendor. Does not mean E20 from that vendor is the best solution for every engine)

Please share if you have dyno graphs from a reputable company (before & after).

Here's an example of before & after (stock cam vs Toda)

Diesel and petrol engines work quite differently. Higher octane vs higher cetane numbers. The fact that your diesel friends feel a difference only shows how severe this placebo effect is.
