මචංලා, පොඩි ප්‍රශ්නයක් තියෙනවා. මගේ ගාව තියෙන්නේ Toyota Vitz (2015) KSP 130 ක් . දැනට mileage එක 85000 විතර දුවලා තියෙනවා.
මම ගියපාර දැම්මේ නම් 0W-20 engine oil එක... හැබැයි මේ පාර පොඩි සර්ච් පාරක් දැම්මම අහු උනා 5W-30 දාන්න ඕන කියලා හයි මයිලේජ් කරලා තියෙනවා නම්.. දන්න එවුන් කියපන් මම දැන් මේ පාර 85000 සර්විස් එකේදි යුස් කරන්න ඕන 0w-20 or 5w-30 ?

තව ගියර් බොක්ස් ඔයිල් එකත් මම 43න් මාරු කරා... දැන් 85ක් දුවපු නිසා මේපාරම ගියර් බොක්ස් ඔයිල් එකත් මාරු කරන්නද? recommend gear box oil එක නම් Toyota FE CVT fluid oil එක නේද?

ඔයවගේ එන්ජිමකට 100K high mileage නෙවෙයි (200K - 400K දුවපු taxi තියනව 10W50 දාගෙන)

Higher viscosity එකෙන් අව්ලක් වෙන්න හේතුවක් නැහැනෙ බන්. 1-2% performance අඩු වෙනව ඇරෙන්න. ඒනිසා ලංකාව වගේ climate එකක පොඩ්ඩක් කලින් Higher viscosity දාන එකේ වැරැද්දක් කියන්න අමාරුයි

TL eken ahala balapan CVT nan aniwaryen maru karapan machan 40k interval waladi change karanna ona nattan gearbox case

Doesnt need to update the engine oil unless you notice oil burn from the engine. Do frequent checkups and make sure engine oil doesnt reduce within the service time. Additionally, it is good if you can change the gear oil in 40,000 intervals.

Oil consumption is not the only/best indication of the right/wrong oil viscosity. You can destroy bearings while not losing oil until it's too late. Viscosity affects oil temp & oil pressure (more so in higher ambient temp) which will not be visible until it's too late unless you have actual oil temp + oil pressure gauges. (oil pressure light does not count as the light comes after everything is fucked)

Source - personal experience in dyno + track and data logging.

Here's an example of a track car running 10W50 vs 10W30 (Fully synthetic Mobil Gold on 38C ambient temp)

85K කියන්නේ ඔය එන්ජින් වලට හයි මයිලේජ් නෙමෙයි. ඔය දාන ඔයිල් ග්‍රේඩ් එකම දිගටම දාන්න. ලංකාවේ එන්ජින් කෙල වෙන්නේ අනවශ්‍ය සුකුරුත්තන් කරන්න ගිහින්.

I have an aqua still use 0W20 and millage is 168000 kms. So far no issues. However I use to check the oil level and the colour frequently.

Thanks for the All suggestions. CVT oil and Engine oil දෙකටම 38000ක් ගියා.. සර්විස් එකට 21000... Ow-20 ම දැම්මා..පරන oil අඩු වීමක් එහෙම වෙලා නෑ..
