Follow the steps below to create a Hotmail Alias
1. Navigate your browser to mail.live.com/?rru=createalias . You will be required to login to your hotmail account (if you are not already logged in).
2. Enter the email address alias, you wish to create. If the email address is already taken, you will be informed – else, a new email alias will be created for you.
3. Next, you can configure a separate folder. All the emails will be pushed to this folder, skipping your original inbox.
In case if you ever wish to remove an alias – you can do so, by navigating to Options > More Options > Manage Account > Account Details. Then under “Other Options” click on “Your Email Addresses”. Here you will be able to view your primary email address as well as the email alias.
