So what happens if we put the original source in EK? We have a set of rules saying not to put links of SL web sites or else you'll be banned. If there is such a rule, administrator / owner is directly responsible for the intellectual theft. Or otherwise, the silly rules should be relaxed. I am a poet my self, and I see my poems being presented by some as theor own. Fortunately I have published them in multiple forums, and I have the dates of them as evidence.

I think you are really mistaken. How can we put our creations in Defence or Daily news? They are not public forums. And every forum adminstrator prohibits any links to other forums that are competitors, even if they contain orignal works of a poster. The long struggle with forum admins have failed (as they bull-headly think only of the forum, not of the posters, and SL's shitty law system against such intellectual thefts have made this forums function without any problem at all), and people are trying to cerate sites to archie such creations. (See www.boondi.lk). Even in such sites it takes a lot of effort to update content, unlike a forum which is updated as you post.

Since admins have prohibited providing links of the competitive forums, they should be held fully responsible if somebody steals the content from the original source and post in a forum as theirs, because admins have blocked the opportunity of the artist to link back to is original source.

That is the very reason that they should allow posters to mention the original source. Here in EK, if a member mentions the source and if it's one of the competitors of EK, boom! you are banned.

Yes. That I do. But the post date will be the current date, and I have done them and posted on Internet long back. Now there is chance for a imposter to edit the names and post it in EK before I does. I will not have any way to prove to the members that it was mine. If I prove it to Admin he'll delete that post, but members will never know it was mine. This is of course that I have noticed the imposter posting it. If the links are allowed, then who ever has seen them on the internet on other locations could provide the links and say that the original creator is different.
Next, if some one wants to quote my work from another site, he'll not be able to do so and will get banned for doing the correct thing.

If you post something taken from another person's article or post you should give the credit to the original poster..

If i take a pic taken by another & post it somewhere else I always mention 'pics taken by ...... or thanx to ....'

same with a album rip.. if a person took the time & effort & uploaded it to web then if you post it in another site you should give the credit for the original uploader..

Its called decency...when a person dont know the meaning of decency in real life... is it so surprising that they do these kinds of things in the internet.. ?

when you come across such posts you can get an idea about the actual person aswell....
