Not only this Doctor there are lot of unqualified people dealing and taking policy decisions contrary to science.
Eg. ex health minster , and prsent state minister- (prof Channa jayasumana) not qualified in medicine or vaccines went after fake syrup made by mason bas- did not take steps to get vaccines in time - result we all know
Dr Godahewa- not qualified in Environment/biology- stating that environmental damage due to x press pearl due to the monsoon rains -huge turtles killed- why such big ones not came to our shores?
Prof Lalithasiri Gunaruwan- cancellation of Kelany Valley Railway project- not qualified in transport(he is Arts faculty prof of econ) when all feasibility studies had done and this was the most suitable way to reduce traffic congession- he said that railway line and road travel will have only 30 minutes save ( the report states more than 2hours save!) and also this line cannot transport containers( no where in the world that container transported in metro trains that is to transoport people only)
Mr Cabral- an accountant not studied Macro Econ stating our country was fastest growing country in 2015 before handing over - a lie even Bangladesh had higher grown rate than us, .... investing in greek bonds when greek was bankrupt and declared junk bond rating !!(this was his previous record prior to 2015)
huge environmental damage though circular that OSF(other state forests) including mangroves to be destructed at the hand of government agents
now we are world renowned environmental destructing country!!
