there's a completely different issue here. women are being objectified in this rising hypersexualized culture and it can have unprecedented side effects. if you see it logically, there's no logical reason for women or anyone to wear clothes at all unless it's cold or something. then why the heck do we wear clothes at. according to individualistic arguments, people should even have the freedom to openly support and promote LTTE ISIS and every kind of terrorist groups. those who don't support them can simply ignore. then why the heck are they banned ?

There's a difference between objectification and wanting to look attractive.

LMAO comparing people having the right to wear what they want to supporting terrorist groups? You're a dumbass mate. Wouldn't expect anything less from a frustrated sexless 30 year old virgin

your personal attack alone explains a lot. anyway personal attacks aside, did it ever occur to you that you haven't explained what's the difference between objectification and wanting to look attractive ? and where do u draw the line ? what does a woman or anyone walking around naked is doing ? is she/he trying to look attractive ?

Again dumbass, there's a difference between parading around naked and wearing clothes a virgin like you may deem inappropriate. About drawing the line, where do you draw the line between what's appropriate and what's not? Is 2 inches above the knee inappropriate or 5?

By trimming your beard and cutting your hair, aren't you trying to look attractive too? Why the hypocrisy here? And for the record men wear shorts and tank tops too, although a gam kabaraya like you might never have seen it.

The difference between objectification and admiration is that when you objectify someone you assume that that's all there is to that person. Saying that a specific person looks beautiful is not objectification, it's admiration, but saying that that's all they have to offer, and in advertising portraying them in a dehumanized way with no personality is objectification.

Go read a book and get laid so that I don't have to waste my time schooling your pathetic ass.

that is exactly the point im making here. ethics and morality is not something objective and deduced by reason alone. it's the average opinion of the mass. in case you didn't understand, i'm not saying porn stars should wear sarees. there's a difference between society and a pornography.

presenting oneself before the society as a mere sexual object is a kind of objectification. in my opinion you and many other are suffering from post colonial mentality. you don't understand ethics. obviously you haven't read a proper book in months even though you advice me to read books. what has really happened is blind acceptance of everything that comes from west has given you a false sense of pride and you are using it to belittle everyone who disagrees with you. they wearing sexually exposing clothes in west is the only reason for you to support it and speak against so-called traditional dresses. take some time and think about it. this is the foundation of your moral theory.

what about the so-called primitive tribes ? do you consider them as progressive solely on the fact that they wear almost nothing ?

people need not walk around like porn stars.

the other point i'd like to make is, thought it might not necessarily illuminate you, feminist extremists use this to get social acceptance. there are women out there who are intelligent and have original ideas. but the stupid majority of women couldn't make them hear. but this dress issue has given them a stage to make themselves heard and i think you are capable of understanding what this would lead our society into.

LMAO you're just using philosophical jargon to try and justify your own bigotry and sexual frustrations. Like I said get laid. Your arguments are horrible and you sound like a complete clueless idiot.

Debunk my argument virgin, I described the difference between objectification and personal choice. Where's your counter argument? Other than "oh you're just someone who blindly follows western values". Counter my argument or get laid.

And to be honest your English is fucking terrible too, might want to work on that sometime.

are you saying non-philosophical jargon is more valid than philosophical jargon when it comes to justify arguments ? never knew about that. thank you for this brief description of your level of understanding.

what you have described is the difference between the intentions to objectify and wanting to look attractive. I'm not concerned here with intentions here. intention doesn't play the major role in shaping a society's mindset. it's the actions themselves what affects most.

as I have said in brief yours and your fellow feminists' battle to get social acceptance wearing like a porn star in public is giving unnecessary attention to fools' opinions. sanctifying and presenting shamelessness as a virtue would do no good to a society. we used to praise women who did stunning discoveries in science and other fields. and here you are praising and holding high women who can wear like people from primitive tribes. your idea isn't even worth fighting for. anyone can wear anything even right now. but our society sees those who are shameless for what they are. both you and your feminists' know their opinions aren't valued in society. their words mean nothing. what you are fighting for is acceptance for their opinions. perhaps you might not realize this. but that's exactly what you are doing. when was the last time a women was stoned for wearing a, say, short skirt in this country ? I think my point is clear. And if you have any problem with my language, feel free to point out any mistake i have made. it sounds like you are stressed and for some reason angry with me. no amount of anger and personal attacks would help you in this. i think u already know this.

Debating about morality and ethics is one of the most pointless thing in this world,

but we have a moral obligation to promote good ideas. rising popular culture is gradually promoting shamelessness, drug abuse and many other harmful activities over good ones. promoting and holding high women, whom the only thing they can do is present themselves with little or no clothes before society, is one such harmful trend and if a counter culture didn't arise against this the day people consider marie curie as some random fool and kim kardashian as someone to follow is not far.

I think you have understood something I have said. You do not strike me as a fool even though you have some unknown, at least for me, personal issue with me. You do understand the side affects of promoting shamelessness as a virtue right ?
