Oh dude, u again screwed up. I finished both bachelors and Masters, Bachelors from Russia and Masters from India. Now I work for a company who has branches in Russia,China and UAE. That's why I stay in Russia and China time to time. Married to a Chinese citizen. Russia is not the best place I've seen. That's why I said, u don't know about me.

Yes, I couldn't go to SL universities and even at the beginning I didn't want to go. My SL friends know that. I got 2C and 1S for maths stream AL. studied at 2nd best school in Sri Lanka.

Sorry for disturbing but really wanted to ask this.So you say you work in Russia and China from time to time rite so you must me earning a quit lot rite at least more than 58000/= N what if you had to come back to SL would you be happy with 58000/= .More than that you said you got 2C'z N a S.

But you think a person who got through ALz with 3A's ,gets outstanding a result as an undergraduate ,who gets a scholarship to a foreign university for a Phd and comes back to Sri Lanka becoz they appreciate this beautiful country rather than you should think that their worth in this country is just 58000/= ,thats just sick bro.

I don't think so. Most of the foreign jobs, especially in middle east prefer western educated people than SL degree holders. I think you need to check again statistics about PG education. You don't know how many Chinese and Russian students qualify for so called top universities.

Russia and China are far more developed than SL, I wonder why these super intelligent SL people can't do anything for SL. Reason for that is they can't think, they just can only follow something. Again SL universities also sell degrees, FOR POLITICIANS. Eg - Mervin Silva

PS- if you can't prove it, you should not shout about it. That SL university lecturer showed the world how much stupid he is.

SL government almost spend lot of money for country's education.

You are talking about the situation in middle east. But the western countries prefer more Sri Lankan graduates than other Asians. I'm a final year undergraduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Non of the asian managemant degrees can even come to the standard of Sri Lankan Management degrees.

May be you don't know the fact that Our faculty is the best management faculty is the South Asian region. This status is achieved not from the government funding or anything else that is totally because of the dedication and commitment of our beloved lecturers.

I know about you a little but I can say some of things considering your comments.. That you unable to select to a SL university obviously because lack of knowledge.And now stay in Russia and now Russia is the best world you ever seen..

listen I have been staying here more than 18 years.
I enrolled for a private school, so it's obvious I couldn't enroll for a government university.so I had to travel abroad to find an university that I have done Bachelor in Computer Science.
there are thousand of students who have the same fate. don't judge a person without having proper clues.

in China some profs I know getting about $900, (some are less and more) but there, expenses are very high, much more than SL.

In Russia where I studied, profs getting about $800 and they don't ask for more. Russia also more expensive than SL. So I think 58000 Rs are enough for a SL prof.

You cant compare Russian degrees with ours. If you compare our degrees with international standards Russian is far behind us.(i'm not talking about art degrees). On the otherhand Sri Lanka's cost of living is higher than Russia.

රජය සමග පැවැත්වූ සාකච්ඡාවල අවසන් ප්‍රතිඵලය සම්බන්ධයෙන් තමන්ට මුළුමනින්ම සෑහීමකට පත්විය නොහැකි බව විශ්ව විද්‍යාල ආචාර්යවරුන්ගේ සමිති සම්මේලනය පවසයි.

එසේ වුවද ආචාර්යවරුන්ගේ වැටුප් තල සංශෝධනයට අදාළව රජය විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කළ කරුණු සම්බන්ධයෙන් සතුටුවිය හැකි බව විශ්ව විද්‍යාල ආචාර්යවරුන්ගේ සමිති සම්මේලනයේ සභාපති ආචාර්ය නිර්මාල් රංජිත් දේවසිරි මහතා කියා සිටියි.

අතිරේක වශයෙන් ඉතා වැදගත් කරුණු කිහිපයක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් අවසන් තීරණයකට එළඹීමට නොහැකි වූ බව හෙතෙම අද දෙරණට කියා සිටියේය.

පසුගිය අයවැයෙන් යෝජිත පර්යේෂණ දීමනාවට අදාළ කොන්දේසි ඉවත් කිරීම,වැටුප් විෂමතා ඉවත්කිරීමේ වැඩපිළිවෙළේ ඉදිරි පියවර,තීරු බදු රහිත වාහන ගෙන්වීමට අවසර ලැබෙන කාලය වසර 7 සිට 6 දක්වා අඩුකිරීම ආදී ඉල්ලීම් පිළිබඳ රජයේ එකඟතාවය නොලැබුණු බව නිර්මාල් රංජිත් දේවසිරි මහතා සඳහන් කළේය.

එසේ වුවද වෘත්තීය සමිති ක්‍රියා මාර්ගය අත්හැරීමට මෙතෙක් තීරණයක් ගෙන නොමැති බවත්,ඒ පිළිබඳ අවසන් තීරණය හෙට සවස 4.00 ට රැස්වන විශ්ව විද්‍යාල ආ‍චාර්යවරුන්ගේ සමිති සම්මේලනයේ විධායක කමිටුව විසින් තීරණය කරනු ලබන බවත් ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේය.
