Giola is situated on the south-east side of Thassos, 16 km away from Potos and 6 km away from Psili Ammos. Actually, it is not a beach but a natural swimming pool, a small lake, a gift of mother nature. Opposite the lake, there is a small, desolate island named both Astriotiko and Panagia. The route to the beach is fantastic but somewhat difficult.
