Definitely a bilateral agreement should give benefits to both parties. Thats a fundamental truth. What matters is how we leverage from n agreement. Indo Lanka agreement was a failure as Indian Bureaucrats imposed non tariff barriers to Sri Lankan exports such as asking for Indian Quality certificates instead of SLS or ISO.

What we do today is criticising it but what we should do is to look for opportunities.
