why do we need an S300? we need more warships than a state-of-art air defence system. not only that, currently we have aged fighter Jets, so instead of buying state-of-art air defence system, why don't we buy SU 27 multirole fighter jets? (SU 34/35 cost is too much for us)

if our government worried about the armed drones or missiles or mortar shells, Pantsir-S1 is good enough. it also effective against helicopters & low flying planes/jets.
