Several TNA MPs dressed in black lit candles at the Parliament complex yesterday in memory of those killed in the war.

This was in the room reserved for TNA MPs in the Parliament complex.

Hiru news team inquired about this from the Serjeant-at-Arms of Parliament Narendra Fernando and he stated that the relevant members of parliament had first tried to meet at the entrance of the Parliament.

The sergeant said that he had prevented it and that it had been reported that they had held the commemoration in the room reserved for the TNA.
