චන්දිමාල්ටත් මෙහෙම එකක් (ලකුනුත් එක්ක රිලේට් වෙන විදිහට) ඇන්දනම් හරි. අපේ බෝර්ඩ් එකේ උන්ටයි සන්ගලටයි මහේලලටයි තේරෙන්න උන් තමා චන්දිමාල් බින්දුමාල් කලේ කියල !

Well Kapil has a obvious logic about choosing foreign coaches, Sri Lankan bowling and feilding have been going down the drain since atapattu got assigned. And the batting approach have changed too. A good coach will sense that. The England series we performed well was because it was just the transition from ford to attapatu. And the team still had the skills and training given by ford in their blood. I only see attapatu as a easy going coach, infact most sri lankan coaches are. If you look at Sri Lanka's past world cup performances in which we got into the finals, all were foreign coaches. I really dont see that SL being competitive in this WC, the most they can get is to quarters .

Couldn't agree with you more than you have mentioned here LANKANJESUS.As i have mentioned previously, Marvan is more suited as an assistant coach.With all due respect to Marvan , he doesn't simply have any imitations skills or innovation. SL performed really well when they were here in Au under Ford.he just need to follow those strategies and the batting line up which he has failed to implement.
In England i was told C.Adams played a massive role and it was a completely different SL outfit during that Tournament.It was very hard fought one day tournament.Obviously he must have been a threat to Marvan and he wasn't given an opportunity there after. I also pointed out that had he wanted NZ, 92 campaign , D .Patel opened the bowling for them.Both Dilshan and Sena are capable of playing that role here.Marvan simply lacks imagination , innovation and management skills .

sanath,marwan and vaas at their very best made srilanka cricket at it's worst.3 cooks having spoiled the soup are now asking Rumesh to make it taste.But highly unlikely to get it done because ideal ingredients are missing to make it taste as some talented power hitters and wicket taking bowlers are sitting in their homes where as useless people have been included in to the squad.
