Too much sweat and energy was not seen . Basically they were struggling. Sangakkaras mind and milestone kept him focusing towards 100 with last pieces of energy:yes. Both are 38 we cant complain but that stage after dilagan we should have send sekku n hitout spinners cause sekku fears quick bowling n he is not good against those misssiles.

I think mahela should bat at no5 letting chandimal batting at 4 .cause when sanga n mahela at the crease seems they are worrying about getting out. they think if they gets out then its over
Other thing we were in the hunt even after chandi if mathews tried to what he does thats dragiing the game into 45 overs.

Thiri is not good against but need to decide wht he does with those.

In bowling giving overs to thisara in the death is beyond me .he gets hit and u ask gim to do it again .not good for him too and for sl too
Sekku needs to vary the pace n need to get a loop in his deliveries no matter what we should play the leggy

We should definetly play both lakmal and chameeera in next game. And need to decide with bit of mentoring whether chameeera can take part in quarters if he performs good vs scot. Sacithra no more samexas he wasbowling unit should be . Malinga, chameera/lakmal, herath, sekku , mathews thisara n dilshan

Playing kusal ahead of tharanga is a 50/50 scenario cause tharanga had just one game and battered to the occassion so can we drop him?

Fielding was just awful today we at least gave away 15-20 it was the difference between we chasing 80 in last ten or 100 results night have been diffrent then.yes we only scored 312 but psychologically we would have been different then

Actually if mahela mathews and thisara can manage last ten overs in this series in remaining fixtures letting handi n upul bat ahead of them and using sekku to hit out spinners we can be there at mcg on 29th March
