I loved that movie, it documents depression in a wonderful way.

yeah, Lars Von trier apparent had been suffering from depression for years and his portrayal of the sickness, I find to be very realistic

you remember that scene where Kirsten Dunst is exposing herself to the dim light of planet melancholica..sort of basking in it, not as if it's a pain..but a joy? that scene gave me goose bumps and still haunts me
