I bet providing all blue colour workers, with appropriate uniforms as in the developed countries, would end the stereotyping and stigma..

When we were kids, all SLTB bus Drivers and Conductors wore a uniform and therefore appeared respectful. I believe even the Postman used to wear a uniform back then.
