We're almost about to 'call it a day' as we are descending from our cruising altitude and prepare to dive into the valley for a dusk arrival into a stormy Innsbruck on runway 08. Even though being an ambulance flight helps extremely - as ATC usually gives you 'direct-to' routings all across Europe - we still spent eight hours in our turboprop by now. We've been to Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Bordeaux and Birmingham. Once more, thanks to WLC! @Over Air in Austria

Prelude 2 this pic: Weather is a funny thing. Just the day before the LA basin was filled with smoke from wild fires in the area. Along with that tropical moisture streaming up from the south created one nasty looking environment. Luckily, one day later, everything changed.
