Neon being the fifth, which comes in Matrix Reloaded, is a complete analogy on the basic functionality of computers and software : which is repetition.
That's what computers do best, repeat a set of given instructions.
Here's they've taken that and the OOP's exception handling concept in naming Neo as the exception.

People in Zion coming up to Neo to bless them and heal them, directly reflects Jesus and jews at the time of the Romans. Neo sacrificing himself to safe zion - Jesus sacrificing himself to save the christians.
Heck, even the name Zion.

The creators of Matrix went of record saying they intentionally used Christian symbolism and made Neo to look like a Jesus in a cyber punk world taken over by machines and artificial intelligence.

Yet you find matrix to have Buddhist symbolism.

If you want to argue about Christianity, then dont. I'm a Buddhist. Not a Christian, even though I have a fair amount of knowledge on that religion.
However, I do know that the standard Christian theology considers Jesus to be the founder and leader of Christianity.
