:rolleyes: t20wala apita dinnanna chance eka wedi(moral booster+can experiment new players)

Do we need t20 to experiment new players?? R u serious bro..

We are the team who shuffled players more than any other team in odis in last two yrs or so..

T20 is a lottery kind of game.. U cant make proper players with t20. If u think so its a bullshit. Ppl like sanath n sumathipala may be thinking in those lines. In t20 even afagan can beat india.. Still its nt a suprise.. T20 just for entertaining not to make players or build a team

    1. Experimenting players with ODIs is too risky where we can use T20Is for that(Malinga used to do that when he was captain and that worked and some new talents were introduced)

    2. Absolutely right, that's why we shouldn't experiment with ODIs because we should need to have fix 11(at least 13) for ODIs by targeting 2019WC.

    3. (afg/minnows beat ind/top teams) Its yet to happen. Still u need some quality players around to win T20Is(minnow teams have so many loop wholes where top teams can rip through).

So far how many players we have found as such.. From t20s and then that player excel in other formats

Sri Lanka's highest scorer from Galle - Dimuth Karunaratne - is also their highest scorer for the year so far, though by a very slim margin. His 448 runs in 2017 is one more than Kusal Mendis. Both have played the same number of innings.
