I wouldn't rule out Theekshan yet. He was constantly hitting the right spots and was changing his pace reasonably well in the last match (the kid seems to have a better brain than Kumara). If he can develop a couple more variations (slider, etc), he could become someone dependable. You don't need to be able to get so much turn in modern cricket, just bowling wicket to wicket and being unpredictable is more than enough as you can see from all the top spinners since 2017.
