No virus can wipe out life from the earth. Corona affects only affects humans and several other mammals and birds it has no effect on reptiles, amphibians, fish let alone invertebrates, bacteria ,fungi etc. Even nuclear winter wont wipe out all the life forms. Life has survived far more catastrophic events. There have been 5 or 6 mass extinction events (I cant exactly remember) but each and every time surviving organisms blossomed after the event . Anyway for your knowledge first life forms originated around 3.5 billion years ago which were prokaryotes. Eukaryotes appear only about 2 billion years back and multicellular organisms just 1.5bilion years back. Animals first migrated to land only about 500 million ago. Then first mammals appear 250 million years back. The first humans are just about 3 million years old. Homo sapiens appeared mere 200000 years back. Civilizations appeared about 6000 years back. Nowhere in this timeline life went completely extinct. Ofcource humans did not go extinct in the past. And even f it happens there is no guarantee the evolution will follow the same path again and it will take billions of years for complex organisms to appear. (And don't ask me to show evidence. Evidence is abundant. You can find them from reputed sources with a simple google search if you are inquisitive enough.)
