-i x -i කීයද?sqrt(-1) = i
-sqrt(-1) = -i
-i = i x (-1) නෙ. ඉතින් -i x -i = i x i x (-1) x (-1)-i x -i කීයද?
The contradiction comes from the incorrect middle line 1 = sqrt(1) = sqrt(-1*-1) = sqrt(-1)*sqrt(-1) =i*iA/L walata i= sqrt(-1) igannuwata Eka waradi. Hari widiyata kiyanna ona i^2 = -1.
Ehema liwwe nathnam apita contradiction Ekak hambenawa.
Suppose i= sqrt(-1), then
1 = sqrt(1) = sqrt(-1*-1) = sqrt(-1)*sqrt(-1) =i*i
But we know i^2 =-1. So we get 1=-1 Contradiction.
I think he's wondering why the SQR(-1) is i and not -i![]()
Simply because the product property of square roots is NOT valid when the numbers are negative.... So it's wrong usage.Show me where it is wrong then. (Exact position)

කඩ්ඩෙන් කියනවා you have only considered the positive option for the square root of one, which is wrong by definition. ONLY |sqrt(1)| is equal to one. sqrt(1) equals both +1 and -1. Get your facts straight before building upon them.Show me where it is wrong then. (Exact position)

Here's a classic example of a contradiction emanating from a false assumption.
Imagine x is a real number. Therefore x = x.
So x^2 - x^2 = x^2 - x^2 - x^2 right?
Now we factorize for the difference of two squares on one side, and take common multiplier out on the other.
So x (x - x) = (x - x) (x + x) good enough?
Now we cut off the common (x - x) from both sides. That gives us
x = x+x
x = 2x
So 1 = 2.
This might look awesome, but since x-x is 0 for real numbers, you can't divide from it. That's the reason for 1 = 2 contradiction here. You taking sqrt(1) as = 1 is a similar error.
