10,000 buried alive in one city

At least 10,000 people remained buried Tuesday in a single city in China's Sichuan province following a massive earthquake, Xinhua news agency said.
The state media also reported that at least 1,000 students and teachers were killed or buried in the collapse of another school in southwestern China.
"So far, the number of dead or missing is estimated at more than 1,000" at the school, Xinhua news agency said in a dispatch from Beichuan county, where reports earlier had said up to 5,000 people in the area may have been killed by Monday's 7.8-magnitude quake.

this was happen last monday abt 14.20 beijing time ..I was at 15 th floor in Guangxi hospital.. thousand miles away from the affectet Sicuan province we all felt how bad was the quake...
PS. no any harm to Chendu the capital city of sichuan many Lk students live,,Thanks god,,,,,

there are around 4 main cities which srilankan students study in china... from dat tianjin and Daliyan was not affected which mst of da ppl from sl study...nt sure abt sichuan..
