Shoaib Akhtar: The maverick Pakistan bowler hurled the fastest-ever delivery against England during the 2003 ICC World Cup at the Newlands when he clocked 161.3 kmph.

Brett Lee: The Australian pacer unleashed the fastest delivery against New Zealand in March 2005. He clocked 160.8 kmph in the first over of the 5th ODI in Napier. In 2003, Lee had clocked 160.7 kmph against England during the World Cup.

Andy Roberts: In the same match, Windies great Andy Roberts almost matched Thompson with the speed of 159.5 kmph

Fidel Edwards: West Indies, known to produce good speedsters, had another prodigy in Fidel Edwards making it to the list. Edwards clocked 157.7 kmph during the Test series against South Africa in 2003/04.

Shaun Tait: The Australian pacer matched Edwards during the IPL 4 match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils. He clocked 157.7 kmph in the first over. This was the fastest ball ever to be bowled in India.

Mohammad Sami: The talented Pakistani pacer may have been sidelined but he undoubtedly was one of the best pacers that the country had produced. During an ODI match during a tri-series at Sharjah against Zimbabwe in 2003, Sami clocked 156.4 kmph. Interestingly, Sami had bowled the fastest-ever ball, clocking 164.0 kmph but that was scrapped since the speedometer was found to be faulty.

Dale Steyn: The South African fast bowler clocked 155.7 kmph during an ODI against New Zealand.

Lasith Malinga: The Lankan speedster matched Steyn's pace during the 2011 World Cup against the same opponent, New Zealand, in Mumbai.

Separamadu Lasith Malinga is a Sri Lankan Right Arm Fast Bowler. He is a specialist fast bowler of shorter version of cricket, with a rare round-arm action. His fastest delivery is 155.7 kmph During World Cup 2011 against New Zealand at Mumbai.
