It's not me who is confused, it's you. You still don't know the responsibilities of the President when it comes to the national security.

I'm not asking about who would lead the army if AKD becomes president because as you said according to constitution it would obviously be the president.

my fact is mahinda didn't invent it.
however, mahainda built some highways and that's good.

sometimes highways, ports, airports would not be in their priority list.

you and I may have cheese nutella pringles packed in the fridge to eat at 10.30 and 3.30. but people dying because of hunger, not in Nigeria, here in our country.
You and I may have the ability to channel a specialist in a private hospital, but there are hundreds of people lined up in the queues in government hospitals waiting hours forsee a doctor or surgery.

Highways to rural areas will make investors to invest out of colombo, Highways just not only to bring embulthiyal like AKD thought, Port city will give jobs not only to City people but for rural area people too...

No president does not go to the War zone, but he'll continue strongly the WAR when even the opposition trying to reject the Budget proposal to stop war. Like AKD,JVP tried to do at the end of WAR

This is exactly what happened with current president.
Thought now we don't have war, we don't need to worry about national security.
And look what happened, now we have found a bigger terrorism than before, bigger war than LTTE, ISS.
Now we have to think about national security more than we did back in 2005.
We have to select a person who have the previous experience, knowledge and know-how when it comes to the national security.
AKD have none of that, I mean NONE 0. And Gota has those qualities.

Yes it's a single aspect but it's the biggest aspect. National Security. It's the first, second and third. nothing matters if that fucks up.
We can say it's just a single aspect and there are plenty more. But President have to be aware of all those. If you don't know any of those you can't make correct decisions or even manage, just say whatever he is told to say or do .(example: My3) So AKD has no such skills or experience but Gota has all those with best credits.

Again this is exactly like present government. thinking that there are specialized people to deal with stuff so no worries. See what My3 and Ranil did. this government had all those skilled people and military power but what happened, over 300 people murdered and there are still hundreds of terrorists walking among us. why? because of the stupidity of Two people, President and prime-minister.
It doesn't matter how good army, weapons you have if your leaders are stupid. That's exactly what will happen if AKD wins, same like My3.
