there is no point buying a 8500 unless u really want DX10....a 7600GS 512MB will give you much better performance at less cost......its around 9k...so why spend extra on a 8500 which will give you less performance......at some games there is a big gap between those 2 cards....7600GS wins 90% of the game benchmarks.......

I say go for 7600GS 512(+caches from the ram as well)

is it 9K i bought Azus one recently from Epsi and it was 12.5K?

Not talking about the performance much, its the stability and durability that matters most with those stupid cards :D

Or really a Asus card is more stable than a STLabs?????? In what way?? i agree that a Asus will have a better lifetime than the STlabs....but what are you saying?

"stable" no mate i don't think so....performance also a Asus will pull more frames but not much......

Well when it comes to overclocking... :P
since Asus uses better components than those stupid cards they are much stable and durable.
FYI : I have 2 STLabs Cards under my Table which just died few days after the warranty period :D
oops forgot i had one of them replaced within the warranty period also

if the price gap is about 2000 between those Asus and STLabs cards I would definitely go with the Asus card with 3 years warranty, besides EPSI....
man!! its the place if u want warranty;) ;) ;)

    Sure its 2000?....XFX 8500GT is 18000 in unity......n the normal 1 is around 12000.....

dont buy a Geforce 7600 GS 512 MB version mate cuz it has slower DDR2 Ram [533MHz] buy a 256 MB version wich has 800MHz DDR2 ram...this GPU is not made to handle 512MB of RAM its just a marketing trick...512 MB of ram is only effective in conisderably high end Cards first one of these cards were ATI RADEON X850 years before...this card is faster than a Geforce 8600 GT...and yes dont buy a 8500 it sucks find some more money and buy a Radeon x1650 XT wich is abt 15000 RS @ asus center and is faster than a Geforce 8600 GT wich is decent performance...i mean decent not even modarate lol...or else u can buy a Geforce 7600 GT 256 MB and OC it to achive performance exceeding that of x1650 but u might end up frying ur card if u dont know what ur doing....

FYI, 7600GT performs better than X1650XT in most tests than vise versa.
