if men can have many wives at a time why cannot women??? isn't it unfair ??? don't u think there's an unbalance in giving privilege to women and men??

What a way of giving consent! I want to chop off your leg at surgery and I ask for your consent. Your silence means I can cut your leg off. What a hailarious way. Is this from Quran or some where else?
Hey u r thinking incredibly . It's not that kind of agreement. when we can understand about the silence is agree or not. they couldn't tell about it of some reason.. we can understand. Don't compare foolish examples .

Re. Statistics – I am not going to offer comparison statistics. I am not comparing Muslim countries with non-Muslim countries. All I am saying is that if hijabi is meant to protect women, then there shouldn’t be a single rape case in any Muslim country, but there is (usually by the numbers). What does that tell you?

So you call Mohammed a “blue moon instance” lol. The very tone of your post tells me that you think marrying young children is wrong. So was Mohammed wrong too? yes/no

Yo you first giv me the statistics as u told before dont try to wriggle out of this...
and u know what Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) did not hav any children after his first child... the child to his first wife...

and this law is brought to bring down the rate of rape victims not to fully eradicate it... there will some in the society who dont follow their religion as in sri lanka (Buddhism says not to consume alcohol but almost everyone do) And even if a rape incident occurs the punishment for committing it is death.. here we have people been given 2-3 years of imprisonment.. that sux.. try to rectify the problems in ur community b4 laying allegations on others

afw - the answer to your question depends on which country these twins are taking a stroll. My answers are based on situation:

In a Middle Eastern country - it would be the non-hijabi twin because it's a rare treat for the deprived muslim man's eyes. I've read many accounts of fair skinned western women being stared and taunted by frustrated muslim men.

In a western country- it would be the Hijabi woman because men are more used to the sight of women in normal clothes, so when a black blob is smack dabbed in the middle of the road their heads are bound to turn

So how about Muslim women who do not report the rape? If they don;t have witnesses (which needs to be male) they'll be punished for adultery. So who would say that she was raped?

No worries, I am not going anywhere. I will provide you with the statistics no later than tomorrow. So grab a seat and settle down!

Your argument is still lame. This is not about the rules in Islam or Buddhism or those that fail to adhere to them. Technically a man is not supposed to have a sexual arousal at the sight of hijab clad or covered woman. That's the purpose of a hijabi. BUT still for all humans are sexual creatures, so a man may not necesserily need to see a face or arm to crave sex. So a hijabi is no help to the woman, in terms of protection from men who are not only sexually frustrated, but act upon it. i.e. rape. So what's the point of the hijab again?

may be both. lady who shows her body could be raped coz she aroused men by showing her body off

the lady with the hijab could be raped coz men would find it more amazed to see what's she hiding so badly from the world. that will arouse them too.

so no direct answer machan. it depends as nadeesha said.

if woman is safe neither in hijab nor a free dress, isn't it wiser to put off the disturbing cloth and ware a free dress??

u talk a lot of nonsense .... u go out of the point to prove ur argument is correct... i for one am sure that visual feel is the main cause for sexual arousal unless something is wrong with his/her head (i am sure there is something wrong with urs) ... hijab provides an excellent solution for this..  :P :P

    u r an ugly racist

Well, it takes one to know one.

I like how muslims are quick to pull the racist card out everytime someone objects to or critcises Islam.
Frankly, I hate the religion of Islam, see Mohammed as a one time terrorist who preaced hatred and raged wars. Disliking a religion does not make me racist (*ding ding* it's a religion not a race), but if you continue to insinuate so, I too can call your dearly beloved prophet and all his followers racist as well. Afterall the man said and did many many nasty things to non-believers in his life time (refer here: http://www.flex.com/~jai/satyamevajayate/kafir.html and http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/Quran/3/cr_list.html ).

As for you my friend, you are racist too - for you hold his teachings and the hatred he spewed dear to your heart. You must believe everything he said right? So it is mohammed and his followers that are the ugly racists in the end. And this comes from a much hated "kuffar".
