7600GT is newer than 7800GT, but slower. They number is according to the increasing performance, not the release sequence.

MAy be I shud try a one like that.After some while though.These days I'm modifying ZriMaXs' PC.It'll look greater than mine coz it has ZriMaXs'ideas + designs,My tech knowledge+ designs and Professional welder will do the things as ZriMax\X will throw money into it.Were building a Dual PSU system for a change.Will post sum pics too.
