    mokada april 8th thama iselama onlin eawe EK... beta 1 eka.. so eeta pase only masekin wage okoma wenas una.. eeeta pase thamai beta 2 me site eka awe...
    bt eeta kalin thibe ara xpert dala thiba beta 1 interface okoma... :D
    beta 2 ekata awama okoma posts 0 une okogema..

    [FONT=&quot]ElaKiri.com, which is also known as EK came online on 8th of April 2006, in beta 1 stage, but as a forum it started from the 12th of April. There are 3 administrators for the site. They are GTRZ (Site admin), Lich (Admin in music) and Chamith who is financially supporting EK in its long run. In ElaKiri beta 1 there were only a handful of active members who tried to keep EK flowing. They were Rapa, Hellbuster, Snowgirl, Neon_white, Deffa, Aazaam, Hacker and our 2 admnis GTRZ and Lich. Even with this small number of members posting and opening threads, ElaKiri did manage to climb up in its ladder to maximum popularity. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]In beta 1, we had a cream colour background and the site was very charming. There were some other challenging Sri Lankans online communities which had more than 20,000 members and were doing a great job. So it was kind of hard for the adminstrators and the members to spread the word about our site. However with every ones help, day by day ElaKiri grew bigger and bigger.[/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]On 5th of May 2005 ElaKiri released its beta 2 version. The whole interface was changed and all the member posts were reset to zero. So it was a new beginning with all the old members. After that there was a rapid growth of the site. There were loads of members joining and the average was like 100+ per day. Now, after a little bit more than one year EK have more than 43,000 members and counting. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]Lots of new members joined in and most of the people used to spend their leisure time in EK. To them it was like a family. Every one helped each other. The best example is when a member lost some of his valuable documentations, there were like so many other members who were willing to help him, and finally he would find it.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Also there were some great get-togethers, trips and many more events organized by EK. There were so many members who participated at these occasions and met each other. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]Most of the members register to download music. Because ElaKiri is the only SL site which gives members the up to date original DVDRip videos and mp3s. Once a member joins in and start posting, they just get addicted to it. And after that it’s like they can’t live without ElaKiri. If I’m lying ask any of our active members. They’ll speak up the truth. [/FONT]
