Talking openly is one thing and telling 100% truth A-Z is some other thing.
Face the reality bro. most of the people find a GF/BF not because they can tell everything. If that the case then people have no problem finding the best GF/BF.

But most of the people select a person as the best friend when they can tell the truth and talk very openly even about your GF/BF.
In some cases best friend also can be the GF/BF. But its like 10% of all. All others just saying it to make GF/BF feel good.
I am not personally pointing at you bro. But face the reality and its totally normal. We can't blame anyone for that.
Most of the people find a BF/GF for one reason and best friend for some other reason.
