The salary will be Kuwait Dinar KD. 600 (Approximate Rs. 240,000/-) Company accommodation will be provide (without food).
1.1 Surveyor cum Draftsman
1.1.1 Function & Responsibilities
a) Survey route of existing corridor/existing pipeline route with the use of surveying tools (to be supplied by the Contractor), measure the exact location of the corridor or existing pipelines and prepare/update the drawings of pipeline.
b) Survey a new route of pipelines and/or corridor from a new locations and prepare drawing showing exact location of the pipelines /corridors.
c) Carry out Site survey for pipeline repair/replacement work to be caried out on pipelines.. During the Site survey, make notes for: -
i) Reference points, markers and facilities in the area for locating the existing pipelines or new pipeline.
ii) After slit trenching make notes of buried existing services
iii) Identifying the tie-in connection or repair locations.
2.10.1 Functions & Responsibilities (Cont’d)
d) At the office prepare the drawings as follows :
i) Plot Plan / Location Plan.
ii) Routing drawing/details for repair works.
e) Submit drawings and material package to the Core Group Engineerfor checking and review.
f) Update database for pipeline repair and related construction drawings
g) Update drawing/projects files/records to include new drawings and as-built drawings.
h) Prepare as-built drawings.
1.1.2 Qualification
Must hold a certificate of surveyor/ and preferably with draughtsmanship after completing a full time 2 years course. Must be proficient in the use of surveying Transit Unit.
1.1.3 Skill Level Description
Should have at least 10 years experience of working as surveyor including for pipeline construction projects and should have at least five years experience in the use of AutoCAD.
