මචන්, Professional qualification තියන කෙනෙක්ගෙන් GCE A/L ඉල්ලන්නේ ඇයි බන්..?
Topjob එකේ දාන adv වලින් සමහර ඒවගේ degree එකකට අමතර GCE A/L එහෙමත් ඉල්ලනවා. ඇයි බන් ඒ?
සමහර company වල (Ex: DSI) GCE O/L result එක පවා බලනවා. මොකටද බන් මේවා බලන්නේ..?
Degree එකක් හෝ HND එකක් හෝ field එකට අදාළ Professional qualification එකක් හෝ experience එකක් තියන එකෙක්ගෙන් GCE Exam ගැන බලන්න ඇයි?
මේකේන් වෙන්නේ GCE fail අයට Professional course එකක්වත් follow කරලා ඉදිරියට යන්න බැරි වෙන එක නේද..?

A/L තියනවා මචන්. Company policy කියලා නම් තේරෙනවා බන්. එත් මට තේරෙන්නේ නැත්තේ ඇයි ඒ වගේ policy තියෙන්නේ කියලා. කිසිම තේරුමක් නැ කියලයි මට නම් හිතෙන්නේ.
Private Institute වලත් ඕනෑතරම් හොද වැඩ්ඩෝ ඉන්නවා. දැනට ලෝකයේ තියන ඉහලම ආයතන වල (Google, Apple, IBM, Bank of America, Netflix, etc.) high-paying jobs ගන්න degree එකක්වත් ඉල්ලන්නේ නැති වෙනකොට අපේ උන් Degree එකත් එක්ක A/L, O/L එහෙමත් බලනවා.

Yeah. That's the thing. But these people (HR) are well-educated. I mean, to get a position in HR, a degree is required, right? So, even the well-educated people think like that, then what does that say about our country.
Or they might have a valid reason to do this and if they do, I would like to know that.

Hi, I totally forget that. I mean that how private education works right?
When you give them money, they give you a certificate.
No hard working or sleepless nights.
No assignments.
No projects.
No presentations.
No exams.

There's are no other reason than the mouth to mouth generations repeating the same mantra.fail a/ls? you're a fool.companies cannot risk their image because if they hire a manager who failed a/l the lower employees will simply not respect.Even if he got a phd they will see him as inferior to them.Ask your parents they will repeat the same mantra after ages.Employers still think a/l is a harder exam than a general degree.You passed a/ls means you're born talented person.doing foundation courses then doing a degree you're condidered as someone who just went round and round with no inherited skills to study then somehow passed a degree.
