if Sri lanka Left lane driving....if we can see the door... bus goes to left [left of screen]...So it should go right isnt it?Dreams001 said:aayeth kiyawanna..ayyo ochhara hithanna deyak nae ban..heta udeta bus holt ekata gihin balannako....![]()

kosandpol said:that logic is completely flawed. You cannot say which way the bus is going just because the door is not visible.
Even if the the hypothesis is used, the answer should be right as on SL roads if you cant see the doors, the bus is on the other side of road to you and going towards the right.
It'll be going to the left if it were roads in USA or any other left hand drive country.
Exactly why I said its completely flawed.Mal Aiyya said:![]()

Think again...Practically
Even if it was either side of driving on the country, either Left or Right, this picture is the SAME, it doesnt influence the answer.
If you dont think too far in to it, you can use that hypothesis. That's why I wrote the second line.Mal Aiyya said:Think again, if you cant get it, I know for sure that when you used that word "Hypothesis" in your reply, you were not very sure about its application

kosandpol said:You need to answer the question yourself and see. But since you didnt get it the first time, let me clear it for you.
In SL, the doors are on the left side of the bus and if you can see the doors then , the bus is traveling to the left (unless the bus is in reverse).
Now in that pic there are no doors and according to your post, the kids say the bus is going to left because they CANT see the doors. THAT is the flaw in the logic.
It would be better if you simply admit that you changed the USA or other country bit to Sri Lanka, without fully thinking how it affects the logic from where ever you copied this from.

Mal Aiyya said:Even I was using your Hypothesis...I mean the hypothesis involved in the thread at the beginnig...
So assuming that statement (Hypothesis), still you are wrong, which I am trying to proove...
[snip]
Imagine a box or something as the bus, and on one side the door for passengers, and dont tink of the divers' door, which is on the other side.
Then look at it from one side and find whcih side is facing the passengers,, then flip over to the other side, but remember, now the object will also flip coz it will be on the other side of the road now...ten you will notice the passengers' door is the same side as before....
So what I am saying is what you said that if it was in SL it will be right side moving forward, and if it was in USA or other country it is vice versa, is utterly wrong.
Mal Aiyya said:I agree that Fuso does not have a driver's door, but tell me how many Fuso's do you see for a day, and there are Fuso's with doors also I think, I have seen one like that, looks like Fuso, but not sure whether its a Fuso or not...Why dont we ask Urajdlk (EK member) to join us??

kosandpol said:Is this so hard to figure out ?
lets take SL busses to explain this. A right hand drive bus.
In such a bus, the passenger doors are on the left hand side of the bus. Do you agree to that ?
Now you can are standing so that you are facing the driver's side of the. Is that clear ?
In this position, you cannot see the passenger doors and the front of the bus is to your right. Do you agree to that ?
No which way is the front side of that bus facing, with respect to you ?
Now on a left hand drive bus, the doors are on the right side of the bus. Hence the bus is going to the left.
i ddnt give..
