Don't know, maybe, but I had hoped that others like your self would give some ansers for this discusion.

I think that Budhism is our state religion, but better question is in how far our state religion has influence on our goverment and laws?

their might is not so strong, however our goverment, and most of our people are budhist oriented in life and law

but one thing, don't argue about buddism or other religion man ..coz this is mother land for Sri Lankans..

There Is No Country For Sinhala People. Sri Lanka Is For Sri Lankans. Not only For Sinhalese. So Buddhism Can't Be the state religon of sri lanka.

that statement is wrong, because a state religion wil not meaning that it wil not allow other religions in its state.
a state religion is meaning that base foundation of a country is based fully or part on the state religion.
